1. Don’t stick to just looking in one place
If you want to meet the love of your life, you have to keep looking and you must search beyond bars. There are plenty of other places where you can meet Mr. Right Guy, and sometimes, these turn out to be the places you least expect to meet them. Just make sure you continue to go out and socialize instead of getting yourself imprisoned in the four corners of your bedroom.
2. Be open for a date set up by your friends
If there are any other people who know you better aside from your family, it should be your closest friends. So when they set you up for a date with someone, they certainly won’t choose somebody you will dislike, and this time, you can’t say no. Let them become the cupid and the matchmakers. After all, if it does not work out with this guy, you certainly can still be friends, you’ve got nothing to lose.
3. Stick to your first impressions
To avoid getting overwhelmed with your first dates, you can choose to stick to your first impression so you do not end up wasting your time trying to figure if you are interested with a person or not. Take time to look the person in the eye and focus on what he says and does. From there, you can already make the decision if you can go on another date with him. However, you yourself should also have to make sure that you are making the right impression on your first date so as not to turn him off.
4. Don’t try too hard to impress
While most men love the challenge of chasing women, you should not overdo playing hard to get. In fact, what men appreciate more are women who are genuine and sincere, and the ones who are kind. This means that you just have to be you. You don’t have to pretend to be someone else you are not, so stop playing it cool.
5. Don’t share too much information

A study has revealed that when a man finds a woman attractive, there is a slight change in the pitch of his voice, that from a high pitched voice, it goes down to low tones. If you would like to consider him as a potential long-term partner, you also have to pay attention to his choice of words.
7. Move on if you are not into him
If after the first date you realize that you are not that interested in him, you might as well just move on because you are just going to be wasting your time and energy trying to work things out with someone you don’t completely like in the first place. Instead, move on be open once again to dating and remember not to settle with just anyone.
